As part of his campaign promises to productively engage youths of his constituency, Hon. Toluwani Borokini, member representing Akure South Constituency 1 on Monday July 15th, flagged off an empowerment initiative committed towards building the human capacity of over 500 youths.
Speaking at the event put together in partnership with Artisans Headquarters and Utopian Events among others, Hon. Borokini used the opportunity to congratulate the beneficiaries of the programme charging them to take advantage of the opportunity in adding values to their lifes and not to sustain the interest which they started with till the end.
Earlier in his address, the organiser of the programme and Co-founder Cyber Oceans, Mr Ilesanmi Ade Ademola said the idea behind the programme was established to help create means of survival for the youths and help live above cyber crimes prevalent in the society.
He further noted that the programme was organised to mark the 2019 World Youth Skill Day.
