The Ondo State Government on Monday took delivery of crates of eggs donated by Farm Support Services Ltd, for distribution to residents of the state to reduce the burden of palliatives to the vulnerable people of the state on the government of the State during the lockdown.
The Chairman of Farm Support Services Ltd, Mr. Olu Origunloye, who was represented by the General Manager, Crest Fm, Akure, Mr Dele Fanimo, said the company envisaged that vulnerable people in the state would find eggs very useful at a time like this to create a balance in their nutrition.
We came here to support the government so that they can get more items to distribute to the vulnerables.
The chairman of the palliatives committee, Pastor Akin Olotu, thanked the company, assuring that their donations would be distributed to the people, who needed the items most.
A member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Akure South Constituency 2, Hon. Sunday Olajide, who facilitated the donation by the company and Pastor Akin Olotu expressed the appreciation of the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN. to the Chairman of the company, who also double as the Chairman of Crest FM, Akure and thank him for this contribution.
