President Muhammad Buhari today met with the leadership of the National Assembly, Dr Bukola Saraki, Senate President, and Yakubu Dogara, Speaker, House of Representatives, on finding a lasting solutions to the intractable security challenges across the country.
However there is serious tension today on the streets of Jos, Capital of Plateau State as the rally organized by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to protest the killing of more than 200 persons by Fulani herdsmen, but the protest suddenly turned violent.
The protesters allegedly broke into the State House at Rayfield Jos, where the protesting women registered their grievances.
The protesters we learnt throw stones and broke glasses.
Meanwhile the curfew imposed by the state government only affect Jos South, Reyon, and Barkin Ladi Local governments. The main Jos is not affected.
