The executive and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in Obokun/Oriade Federal constituency in Osun State has passed a vote of confidence on their representative; Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke(BOO) saying he deserve to continue in office.
The vote of confidence was unanimously passed last weekend at a meeting held in his GRA residence in Osogbo, Osun State.
The meeting had in attendance, PDP Chairmen and executives of both Local and ward levels of the party across the federal constituency.
The constituents reeled out his achievements as covering all spheres of human needs.
Some of the achievements highlighted include the purchase of over 1000 free JAMB form for the youths of his constituency; payment of annual bursary for students of Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency; procurement of WAEC&NECO forms for over 1000 students in his constituency; payment of school fees for over 500 students in his constituency.
Others include the facilitation of federal government jobs for over 500 graduates of ijesha north Federal Constituency; employment of over 200 graduates of his constituency to aid effective teaching in secondary schools; sponsorship of over 1000 youths of his constituency for skill acquisitions and entrepreneurship scheme in JABU and as well as the provision of free tools and equipments for the self employed.
BOO was also said to have empowered the women of his constituency with over 100 million to start their own personal businesses; established Ijesa North Women Cooperative Society to raise fund for women empowerment; facilitated employment for over 500 youths of Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, established Digital ICT Centre in Ipetu-Ijesa, facilitated the establishment of Nigeria of Nigeria Legal aid council in Ijebu Ijesa and initiated the establishment of Federal College of Agriculture and Federal College of Education in Ijebu and Ibokun respectively.
At the moment, work is ongoing to build a mini stadium with ultra modern facilities in Ijebu Jesa and as well, BOO was said to have sponsored two separate bills to turn Kiriji War Settlement in Imesi-Ile and Olumirin Water fall, Erin-Ijesa into world tourist centre.
Just as they lauded his efforts, his constituent further affirmed that he has dug over 75 bore holes and renovated many schools and palaces in his constituency.
