In a statement issued by his Media Aide, Dayo Joseph, on Sunday, Alasoadura noted that Fayemi’s victory was a manifestation of the people’s trust and confidence in his leadership.
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum(upstream), implored the elected Governor to rise above partisan consideration and carry along all people in the task of building the state.
He tasked Fayemi to see the fresh mandate given to him as a call to further duty in the service of his Fatherland and an immense opportunity to carry forward the policies and projects initiated during his first term to promote progress and development Ekiti State.
While urging the losers in the election to accept the result in good faith and cooperate with the winner in the interest of the state
“Most importantly, I thank the people of Ekiti for once again displaying the qualities of true patriots. The election was devoid of violence.
