A frontline woman Politician and advocate for good governance, Hon. Omotunde Abiodun Fajuyi was yesterday honoured by the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikere-Ekiti Branch during a special plenary session organised by the NBA Ikere Ekiti, to mark the 2019 Law Week.

The Theme of the Programme was “The 21st Century Lawyer; Beyond Litigation: A Professional and a Citizen”,

Hon. Omotunde Fajuyi is an Accountant, farmer and Politician,
Omotunde Abiodun Fajuyi is the widow of late Ekiti legal luminary Barrister Dayo Fajuyi, son of Late Col. Adekunle Fajuyi of blessed memory. Omotunde’s daughter and son inlaw are also members of the Nigerian Bar Association.

The accountant turn Polititian who was at the occassion to deliever a keynote address, presented a paper on “Beyond Litigation.

As a Community Development Advocate, she stressed in her presentation on the importance of creativity and knowledge driven programmes by home based lawyers to render quality services to their various communities.
She stressed that there is always a reward for all services .

She maintaned that good etiquettes and professionalism drive good results in any profession, and call on lawyers to be more articulate and firm in their chosen career.

At the end Hon. Omotunde Fajuyi was presented with an award of excellence upon her stand and believe in advocacy for community development.

Omotunde Fajuyi is contesting to grab the APC ticket alongside other aspirants to run for Chairmanship of Ado local Government council, in the November 2019 Ekiti State Local Government Election.
