Well wishers, religious leaders and Political associates as well as Ilaramokin socialite started trouping to the quiet town of Ilaramokin as early as 8am today for the burial of Ondo State Commissioner for health, Dr. Wahab Oluropo Adegbenro.
The entire town wears the look of a ceremony, except that people were not in their best attire, it was in a mourning mood.
The body arrived Ilaramokin in Ondo State ministry of health ambulance at about 9.45am shortly after the arrival of Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun and the state Government representatives.
The venue for the interment was feel to capacity with people climbing fence and trees to witness the passage of a man who lived life of charity.
The body was lowered to the grave at exactly 10.40am after the Islamic Janaza prayers on the corpse of Dr. Wahab Oluropo Adegbenro.
In his sermon the Chief Imam of Akure Sheikh AbdulHakeem Yayi Akorede advised people in position of authority to emulate the life of Dr. Wahab Oluropo Adegbenro, he said with the passage of Adegbenro, a lot of people had died internally, his death has dashed hope of many who depend soley on this man.
Other religious leaders from Ifedore local government euologises the late Commissioner, referring to him as a community leader and father to many.
Many people spoke about his Charity work using his hospital to save a lot of life at no cost.
May Allah accept his soul and grant him a place in Aljana Fridaous.
Dignitaries present at the Janaza ceremony includes, Political associates from within and outside Ondo State, religious leaders both Muslims and Christians, Ilaramokin sons and daughters from far and near and the representatives of Ondo State Government.
