Proverbs 13:20 says “He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm”
Political parties in Nigerian politics engross  enviable position in elections. As a matter of fact, political parties are the wheels to contesting elections and the popularity or manifesto of these political parties are determining factor of out comes of polls.
This may not be unconnected to why Okene in Kogi State on Saturday stood still for the unity/defection rally of Engr. Joseph Asuku Bello, the Son of distinguished jurist Hon. Justice Moses Abu Bello, a former president of customary court of appeal, a fine, quiet, and unassuming philanthropist, a genuine altruist whose good will, compassion, empathy and desire to uplift others is none to other.
The many testimonies about Justice Moses and his humanitarian strides is one of the biggest coming out of the igbira clan.
The goodwill of the father is what must have made the constituents to consider having his eldest son, Engr Joseph Asuku Bello to represent them at the green chambers come 2019. And to actualise the peoples’ desire, political parties been hallmarks and essential components of contesting elections foresore his defection.
Another factor of his defection, according to his constituents, is that they have not fared well despite the reality of deserving better legislative representation which unfortunately they couldn’t get which he, Asuku reassured of changing the narration when given the mandate.
Engr. Joseph Asuku Bello, a calm and decent mind is a certified, well travelled, learned, competent Engineer, aiming non-negotiable qualitative legislative representation of his people of Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency, in Kogi state come 2019.
Speaking further,  Engr. Asuku noted that, the good work of Governor Yahaya Bello at the state level and the mind blowing agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari were too attractive and tempting to resist from joining the APC.
Speaking,  Dr. Mustapha Jibril who happens to be a cousin to Engr Asuku (son to the Dr. Jibril’s uncle and elder brother to his mother) congratulated him and  described his decision “a progressive thought” while he urged him to remain steadfast , focused and put his subjects above everything else including his political career.
In addition to the foregoing progressive reasons, the commissioner stated that, the APC was actualised as a result of yearning for sound and service-driven leadership in the country.
Engr. Asuku’s crave for productivity saw him co-establishing an ICT firm, CNS Technologies in partnership with some friends in 2004. Two years down the line, precisely in 2006, he started his own construction company JABTECH LTD.
Asuku Bello is happily married to a loving  and amiable wife, Mrs. Irene O. Bello and the union is blessed with four children,  Asuku Jnr., Ahuoiza, Onyi-Ohinoyi, and Ohinoyi.
