The governor of Gombe State Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has called on Nigerian youths to register and collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC), ahead of 2019 general elections to enable them vote for the right leaders that will take Nigeria to a greater height. The governor made the call on Sunday while receiving the Emir and people of Gombe Emirate council at the Government house.
Earlier the Emir, His Royal Highness, Abubakar Shehu III who was at the Government house with the people of Gombe to pay Eid El Fitri Sallah Homage to the Governor expressed his gratitude to Governor Dankwambo for his support to Gombe Emirate, he described Governor Dankwambo as a leader for all not just the people of Gone. He thanked him for the respect and Honour for the traditional council and Gombe Emirate in general, “Mr. Governor, Gombe Emirate council is always proud of you “, he said.
He commended the Governor for his developmental projects and achievements in the various sectors of the economy of the State.
The Emir of also commended Governor Dankwambo for his numerous support and contributions to the Gombe State council of emirs and chiefs in general.
Welcoming Dr. Shehu Abubakar III and his entourage, Dankwambo thanked them for the Sallah Homage. He also thanked the Emir and the good People of Gombe State for their support and contributions to his administration. He urged the Emir and his team to continue the good and selfless service saying the reward is in Hereafter.
Governor Dankwambo commended the people of State for their innumerable support for his administration, he urged them to continue living in peace with one another and prayed for permanent peace in Gombe State and Nigeria in general.
