The wife of the Bauchi State Governor, Hajiya Hadiza, Abubakar, has again restated her commitment towards supporting education of the girl-child and monitoring of issues of violence against women, child abuse and culture.
Hajiya Hadiza, Abubakar stated this at the launch of a national conference on the development of women’s lives, which was held by the HILWA for five days in Bauchi State.
The First Lady who used the opportunity to thank the organizers of the programme, appreciated the audience who were especially in support of women’s education in the community.
In her remark, she charged the participants to create programmes that would support the HILWA community in educating people on the education of girls in the community.
Hajiya Hadiza who noted that unemployment rates for unemployed women around the world have grown dramatically in developing countries, stressed that she would continue to organize series of support programmes for women and girls.
Earlier in his remark, , Shamsuddeen Lukman Abubakar told reporters that the Governor of Bauchi State, Muhammad Abfullahi Abubakar Esq have been particularly involved in improved education for people of the community.
