The Nigerian Police Command has arrested twelve (12) additional suspects in connection with the Offa Banks Robbery of 5th April, 2018.

In a statement made available to newsmen by ACP Jimoh Moshood, Force Public Relations Officer, Force, Headquarters, Abuja, he noted that the Police also recovered Handsets, Ipads and SIM cards belonging to victims of the robbery.

Suspects arrested in Offa include, Adegoke Shogo 29yrs, Kayode Opadokun, 35yrs, Kazeem Abdulrasheed, 36yrs, Azeez Abdullahi, 27yrs. Others arrested in Lagos include Alexander Reuben, 39yrs and Jimoh Isa, 28yrs on the 11th April, 2018.

Azeez Salawudeen, 20yrs was arrested in Offa as he was in possession of a victim’s phone and sim cards. Adewale Popoola, 22yrs was also arrested in Offa as a victim’s phone and sim cards was recovered from him.

Others arrested in connection with the robbery include Adetoyese Muftau, 23yrs, arrested in Ibadan, Oyo State, Aminu Ibrahim, 18yrs, Richard Buba Terry, 23yrs and Peter Jaba Kuunfa, 25yrs, all arrested in Ilorin.

These last three (3) last suspects had in their possession another Beretta pistol and Fourteen (14) rounds of live ammunitions.

This is coming on the heels of the deployment of a high powered Investigative Team by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris NPM, mni.
