The Muslims in Ondo State would today resume normal Jumat services after closing all Masjid for over 2 months.
The Chief Imam of Akure kingdom Sheikh AbdulHakeem Yayi Akorede called a meeting of all the Imams in Akure Zone on Thursday to map out ways to conduct their services in conformity with the NCDC guide lines.
The fumigation of Akure central Mosque started early Friday to keep the entire Masjid area safe.
Hand washing materials, soap, and sanitizer have been provided for the worshipers.
The Chief Imam advised all worshipers to adhere strictly to the rules, put on facemasks and wash hands with soap.
