Nigerians especially the people of South West are worried about the rate of kidnapping in Osun State axis of Ibadan/ Ife/Aramoko road, as citizens are now in fear of being kidnapped on the federal high way.
Just a week after Prof. Bankole Adegbehingbe of Ife University teaching hospital was kidnapped and a ransom of over 5million paid by his family, another gentleman Mr. Ayo Oladele on his way to his home town of Erijiyan Ekiti was kidnapped on Friday 17th May 2019 at about 17hour, along Iwaraja Efon alaye road. Oladele is an old student of Christ School Ado Ekiti. According to family source the dare devils are demanding a Ransom of 60 million from the poor man’s family.
The question is what are the security agencies of Ekiti, Osun, Oyo and Ondo State doing to keep the roads free of the men of under world?
The Olohan of Erijiyan Ekiti Oba Adegoroye Omosebi, in a meeting with his Chiefs on Sunday called on the Government of Ekiti State to please liase with the Governor of Osun State to help in releasing Mr. Ayo Oladele from Kidnappers den, saying the entire town of Erijiyan Ekiti can not afford a ransom of 60million Naira, the monarch pleaded.
