The men of the Directorate of State Security Services Friday afternoon arrested the senator representing Abia South senatorial district and Chairman, Senate Committee on Power, Enyinnaya Abaribe.

Abaribe was arrested by security operatives following him from the National Assembly complex on leaving the premises Friday afternoon.

The  reason for his arrest is not yet known.
